This scene was an experiment with POV-Ray's +K (or clock) parameter, which in POV-Ray 2 is only capable of very basic animation due to the lack of scripting later added in the 3.x series. My aim was for this GIF to have a hypnotic quality, which hopefully I've managed to achieve! |
